Introduction
Superpart is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand).
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly:
- Email address and full name when you create an account
- Organisation details when setting up your workspace
- Aircraft, maintenance, work-order, task, inventory, parts, asset and invoice-preparation information
- Uploaded files and information exchanged through integrations selected by your organisation
- User activity, audit records, and technical and security logs used to operate and protect the Service
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain Superpart
- Manage user access and authentication
- Enforce security and prevent unauthorised access
- Generate reports and analytics for your organisation
- Comply with legal obligations and audit requirements
Data Hosting and Service Providers
Superpart uses third-party cloud infrastructure and service providers to deliver functions such as hosting, authentication, databases, email, analytics, security and accounting integrations.
Information may be processed or stored outside New Zealand. Service providers may process information only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service, subject to their applicable terms and safeguards.
Data Protection and Security
Organisation-level access controls are used to keep each organisation's operational data separate.
Superpart uses technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss. However, no system can guarantee absolute security. For more details, see our Security Policy.
Superpart will investigate suspected privacy or security incidents and, where required, notify affected parties and/or appropriate authorities in accordance with applicable law.
Your Rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Withdraw your consent to the use of your information

Organisational Control
Your organisation administrator controls who has access to your data within Superpart. You are responsible for managing user access and maintaining appropriate internal controls.
Superpart does not sell your data. Information may be processed by service providers used to operate the platform and by integrations your organisation chooses to connect, such as Xero.
Data Retention
We retain information while needed to provide the Service and in accordance with applicable retention and backup processes. Following termination, organisations may have a reasonable opportunity to request or export available data unless immediate deletion is required for security, legal or technical reasons.
Deletion from the live application does not necessarily mean instantaneous deletion from all backups. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups or system logs and will expire in accordance with applicable backup and retention processes.
Customer Responsibility
Maintenance organisations remain responsible for deciding what information they enter, ensuring they have authority to enter personal and aircraft information, managing user access within their organisation, and meeting their own legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.
Superpart does not assume the maintenance organisation's responsibility for regulatory maintenance-record retention.
Compliance
Superpart operates in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand). If you believe we have breached your privacy rights, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Privacy Commissioner.
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted to this page. Your continued use of Superpart constitutes acceptance of any changes.
