Security

Your maintenance information matters.

Superpart is designed to keep company information, aircraft records and operational data appropriately separated and controlled.

01

Access Control

Access to Superpart is controlled through authenticated user accounts. All users must be signed in to access the application, and access is managed at the company level by your organisation administrator. Roles such as manager and technician are assigned by the administrator and are designed to limit access to features and data appropriate to each role.

02

Company Separation

Organisation-level access controls are used to keep each organisation's operational data separate. Authenticated requests are scoped to the user's organisation, with server-enforced record rules and additional application checks designed to prevent cross-organisation access.

03

User Permissions

Superpart uses manager and technician roles to control access to operational features. Manager-only actions are checked in the application, while organisation-scoped data access is enforced through authenticated user and tenant checks. Selected parts, work-order, time and asset actions create audit records.

04

User Onboarding

Organisation managers pre-authorise users by email and assign a manager or technician role. The user creates their own Superpart account with that email address and is linked to the organisation after authentication. Managers can cancel pending pre-authorisations and deactivate or remove organisation access.

05

Data Protection

Superpart uses technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss. These include hosted authentication, access controls, role-based permissions and audit logging. No system can guarantee absolute security, and organisations remain responsible for appropriate internal procedures and regulatory record keeping.

06

Responsible Access

Customers are responsible for helping keep access secure. This includes:

  • Protecting account passwords
  • Removing access promptly when personnel leave
  • Using appropriate access permissions for each user
  • Reporting any suspected account compromise
